01. Information We Collect

Shadow Weaver can be played immediately without creating an account. We only collect minimal data when you voluntarily sign in to sync your global leaderboard score:

• Google Sign-In Profile Identifiers (Optional): When you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google authentication identifier (Firebase Auth uid) and display name to reserve your unique Weaver handle and associate your high score with your account.
• Gameplay & Leaderboard Data: When you achieve a high score, the Game stores your chosen display name (e.g., Weaver_1234), your best distance in meters, and the timestamp of the record in Google Cloud Firestore.
• Local Device Storage: Your audio preferences (Music, SFX, Haptics), local personal best distance, and display name are stored locally on your device via browser localStorage so your settings persist offline.

02. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above strictly to operate core game features:

• Displaying the top player distances on the in-game Global Leaderboard.
• Ensuring each player's chosen leaderboard username remains unique across devices.
• Checking the current release version against our update configuration so the app can notify you when a new game update is available.

We never sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks. Shadow Weaver contains zero third-party advertising SDKs.

03. Android App Permissions

The native Android APK (com.shadowweaver.game) requests only essential system permissions:

• Internet Access: Used to sync global leaderboard scores, authenticate with Google Sign-In, and check for game updates.
• Vibration / Haptics: Used for tactile feedback during jumps, landings, and lightning strikes (can be toggled off at any time in Settings).
• Request Install Packages (Optional In-App Updates): Used only when you explicitly tap "Update Now" to install a newer signed APK version directly from our official release server.

04. Data Retention & Account Deletion

Local game data can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser site data or uninstalling the Android app. If you have signed in with Google and wish to have your leaderboard entry and associated authentication record permanently deleted, please email us at nirooj56@gmail.com and we will remove your record promptly.

05. Children's Privacy

Shadow Weaver does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information without consent, please contact us so we can delete the information.
